How long is the ceremony?
It takes 2-3 hours as it is all done from scratch and this is time to discuss sport, social and economical issues.
How do you prepare the coffee?
Green coffee beans are roasted in a pan, grounded by hand in a mortar (or machine) then brewed slowly in a clay pot called Jebena over open fire. Once ready, the pot is removed from the fire and you wait for about 5 min to let the grounds settle before pouring it out on a small cup called Sini. Enjoy!
